More copy and paste prevention for Teams Meetings
To protect sensitive information shared during a Teams Meeting, Microsoft is bringing in more restrictions to copy the same. Earlier we had a meeting option ‘Turn off copying and forwarding of meeting chat’ to disable copying and forwarding of messages exchanged in Meeting chat.
Now this has been extended to prevent copying the below additional information that are generated during the meeting.

- AI-Summary in recap
How to enable copy and paste prevention ?
When you create a Microsoft 365 Teams meeting, navigate to Meeting Options -> Turn off copying and forwarding of meeting chat, live captions, and transcripts. Toggle this option ‘ON’ to enable this prevention.
Prevention of Copying Transcripts
When the option ‘Turn off copying and forwarding of meeting chat, live captions, and transcripts’ is enabled, none of the participants (including the organizers and co-organizers) can copy the transcripts that are generated during the meeting. Moreover, a warning message is shown to the user who tries to copy the transcript.
